Indrani Cup (also called Angoori Rabdi or Indrani Cup dessert) is a North Indian sweet that combines the richness of rabdi (thickened sweetened milk) with tiny chenna (paneer) balls—often called "angoori" (grape-sized). Found popularly in Delhi, especially from halwai shops, it is sold individually in small earthenware or decorative cups. It is distinct from rasmalai in that the milk is reduced further into a rabdi rather than remaining lightly thickened.
Taste & Quality
Taste & Quality
Indrani Cup features soft, spongy chenna (paneer) pellets simmered in sugar syrup, which are then submerged in ultra-creamy, aromatic rabdi. Expect a luscious, velvety mouthfeel with layers of flavor—sweet milk reduced to a custard-like consistency, perfumed with cardamom, saffron, and sometimes rose water or nut slivers. Each piece is served in a delicate cup, making it a visual and gastronomic delight.
